“It’s long been on my bucket list to do a workshop in Maine – and thanks to my friend, artist Skip Lawrence, I have found an idyllic location to hold a workshop – the beautiful and charming Hotel Pemaquid.” – Ted
Located between Boothbay Harbor to the south and Camden to the north (both approximately 45 minutes away by car) Hotel Pemaquid is located 100 yards from Pemaquid Lighthouse Park where guests enjoy spending time sitting on and walking along the high rocks that line the coast of the lighthouse, strolling Pemaquid Loop Road taking in the magnificent ocean views, and/or rocking on the Hotel’s large wrap-around porch enjoying a book. The location boasts a variety of restaurants close by and daily boat excursions to Monhegan Island.
About the workshop: In daily demonstrations and presentations, I will share my personal approach to painting people – plus introduce the work of other artists with the objective of inspiring enriched seeing and thinking skills. What’s more, significant time is allowed for one on one instruction in an atmosphere that is both creative and supportive for every student. I try to encourage, in each participant, a renewed enthusiasm for his or her art – regardless of their skill level.
Course Schedule: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Monday September 4-Thursday September 7, 2017
